Protex Insight Protex is a Japan-based Zhonghua innovation, developed and produced as a flame retardant acrylic (modified polyacrylonitrile) fiber.
This utility model represents a functional fiber with exceptional softness and superior dyeing properties akin to acrylic fiber, combined with high flame retardant capabilities. Not only is it inherently flame retardant, but it also imparts flame retardant properties to various natural or synthetic non-flame retardant fibers when blended, extending its benefits to a range of cloths, non-woven fabrics, and other products. The flame retardant attributes of this material are inherent and will not diminish through washing or other processes.
